Orly holds a Ph.D in Epidemiology from the School of Public Health, the University of Haifa (development of drug-tracer algorithms for Parkinson’s disease, big data analysis; Pfizer and university research scholarships). Before that, she gained an M.Sc in Molecular Pharmacology from the Faculty of Medicine at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa (cellular & molecular biology, neuroprotection and apoptosis signaling in cell culture stress models; Technion research scholarship); and a B.Pharm from the School of Pharmacy at the Faculty of Medicine, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (with distinction).

Apart from the knowledge and practice in life sciences and academic research, Orly has excessive experience and a great love for learning, teaching and tutoring - beginning in the adolescence years, through instructional and command positions during the army service, and into adulthood. In her last role as an instructor in a course of medical research, she has guided residents of a Family Medicine Residency program through the practical process of conducting their own research projects.

In Gsap, Orly joined the medical device section. She is a great team player, with those inter-personal skills essential for forming genuine, productive partnerships.
