Tal Lavi, Ph.D

Senior Clinical Trials Project Manager

Tal Lavi holds his PhD in the field of molecular microbiology in the Faculty of Medicine at the Technion Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel. Both his M.Sc.Agr and B.Sc.Agr degrees were graduated with distinction at the Faculty of Agriculture, The Hebrew University, Rehovot. In addition, he has his CRA/GCP course diploma and Clinical studies auditors certification from Bioforum - Applied Knowledge Center, Ness-Ziona, Israel and Executive Management and Entrepreneurship Course diploma, from the University of Haifa.

Dr. Lavi has over 8 years’ experience in the clinical research of the Israeli medical device industry (Orsan, BrainsGate and Check Cap). He has managed various clinical sites in Poland, Germany, UK and Slovakia - all under advanced pivotal FDA regulations. In addition, he is well acquainted with clinical management processes under the Israeli regulation, whole country ramp-up through protocol, IB and other relevant documents preparations, Helsinki and MoH submission and corresponding, sites study teams set up, budget preparation to contract application and Site Initiation preparation and presentation. Furthermore, Dr. Lavi brings a solid study monitoring and auditing clinical experience.   

Dr. Lavi has led an overall clinical responsibility for the optimal progress and completion of the clinical development roadmap. That included daily management of clinical team operators together with professional relations with medical staff and KOL.

During his work in Gsap Tal lead Projects in the following companies: Fidmi Medical, Ivory- Graft, Eximore Ltd and Zyon Pharmaceuticals, Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, as well as preparing Stem Cell Transplantation department at Hadassah Medical Center Ein Qerem for FACT JACIE Inspection.
